補助項目

There are two parts of NUK Foreign Student Scholarships, one is "Admission scholarship", and the other is "Degree Student scholarship."

本校外國學生獎學金分為二部份，包含「入學獎學金」及「學位生獎學金」。

1. The Admission Scholarship is awarded as a one-time payment upon enrollment to partially subsidize the tuition and fees for the first academic year/semester (covering about 20~50% of the tuition fees for that period at NUK). After enrolling in NUK, there is a Foreign Degree Student Scholarship which can be applied once a year after enrollment. Students who need financial aid after enrollment may apply annually for the Degree Student Scholarship, for which applications open in March every year. The application form for admission scholarship must be submitted as applying online for admission if so desired. (The application deadline is based on the timetable in P.3 of the prospectus for each intake. Late submissions will not be accepted.) To download the application form for admission scholarships, please use the form attached in the appendix of the prospectus (P.21) or the form provided in the column [Documents] here. To apply, student is required to submit a copy of transcript of former or highest degree, English and/ Mandarin Chinese language certificates and related professional certificate or award.

1. 入學獎學金：入學獎學金為一次性核定，約可部份補助新生約20~50%的學雜費(入學第一學期或第一學年)；入學後仍有獎學金需求之在校生, 可每年申請本校三月公告受理的外國生「學位生獎學金」。有入學獎學金需求者，申請表格須於入學申請時一併上傳繳交(依各招生梯次公告簡章p.3入學申請期限為準，逾期恕不受理補件)，獎學金申請表可至公告的簡章附錄(P.21)下載或於本頁面[申請表件]下載。申請須檢附前一學歷或最高學歷之在校成績、英文及/或華語能力檢定及相關專業證照獎項。

2. The Foreign Degree Students Scholarships provided by NUK can partially subsidize or reduce tuition and miscellaneous fees of the current foreign degree students at NUK. The academic performance, professional certificates, other academic or activity service documents, etc. will be evaluated as the criteria for whether to provide the applicant subsidies. The Degree Student Scholarship is applicable once a year from the foreign degree student’s second or third semester after enrollment. The amount and availability of scholarships is decided by the OIA’s scholarship committee meeting and is subject to our annual budget and number of applicants for the year. NUK provides subsidies to a certain number of individuals each year, and the amount of each scholarship ranges from NT$5,000 to NT$20,000. The application for Degree Scholarships usually opens during March every year and is handled by the Division of International Student Affairs of OIA. (Those who have already received the NUK’s Admission Scholarships for the current semester are not eligible to apply again in the same year but shall apply for the Degree Student Scholarship next year.) The availability and amount of each scholarship is subject to our annual budget and number of applicants for the year. 2. 學位生獎學金：提供本校在校外國學位生部份學雜費減免補助，審查方式為在校學業成績、專業證照、其他學術或活動服務資料等為評估是否補助之標準。本項學位生獎學金入學後第二學期至三學期起，一年可申請一次，每年於3月份由本校國際學生事務組公告受理申請，是否補助及補助額度視當年度預算及申請人數而定，由本校獎學金審查會議決議，每年補助若干位，每位補助金額約新台幣5千元至2萬元不等(當學期已領有本校新生入學獎學金者同年度不得再申請，應於下一年度始得申請在校學位生獎學金)。[註:外國學位生獎學金詳情，歡迎參考國際處官網「僑生及外籍生專區」。]

1. Admission Scholarships/ 入學獎學金：

• To apply for admission scholarships, students must apply with the admission application. It's an one-off issurance. 新生入學獎學金須於入學申請時提出申請 ，且為一次性核發
• Must submit a copy of transcript of former or highest degree, English and/ Chinese language certificates and related professional certificate or award. The academic performance and relevant language proficiency will be evaluated. 須檢附前一或最高學歷在校學習成績、英文及/或中文能力檢定及相關專業證照獎項。本校將對學業表現及相關語言能力進行評估。
• Language requirements/ 語言門檻規定: A. Chinese language proficiency certificate TOCFL A2 (minimum requirement) or the equivalent level such as HSK Level 4.  (Except full English-taught program) 中文能力檢定至少達TOCFL A2以上(申請全英授課者可免); B. English or other language proficiency certificate ( according to the department's requirements). 英文或其他語言能力檢定證書 (依申請系所標準)
• Requirement for receiving the scholarship/獎學金領取要件: Students must be officially admitted to NUK and reply to us the form confirming his/her intention to enroll with his/her personal signature. 須獲高雄大學錄取並簽署繳交確認就讀意願報到表

2. Foreign Degree Students Scholarships/ 學位生獎學金：Limited to foreign students with official enrollment status at this university (NUK) who meet the following conditions: 具有本校正式學籍外國學生，並符合下列條件者為限：

• Undergraduate students: (a) Complete at least six credits per semester.(b) Have an overall average of at least 65 points in the previous semester's grades and at least 75 points in conduct grades and have no adverse records 大學部學生：(一)每學期至少修習六學分。(二)前一學期學業成績總平均 65 分以上，操行成績 75 分以上且無不良紀錄。

• Graduate students: (a) Complete at least four credits per semester. (b) A total average of at least 75 points in the previous semester's grades, a conduct grade of at least 75 points, and no adverse records. (C) Students who do not have grades for the previous semester because they are in the process of writing their master's or doctoral dissertation are allowed to apply within the application period with a letter of recommendation from the supervising professor and a copy of the dissertation. Applicants in this category are limited to two applications each during their period of study. 研究所學生：(一)每學期至少修習四學分。(二)前一學期學業成績總平均 75 分以上，操行成績 75 分以上，且無不良紀錄者。(三)因撰寫碩、博士論文期間，而無前學期成績者，得於申請期間內，以指導教授推荐書及所撰寫論文內容提出申請。此類申請者在學期間每人以二次為限。

(1) NUK offers students full/partial tuition and miscellaneous scholarshipss.

(2) Everclever Company offer NT$ 120,000 per year for living expenses, issued on a monthly basis.

(3) Duration of the scholarships: Bachelor program is limited to 4 years, master program is limited to two years, and the doctoral program is limited to three years

Application conditions

(1) Students must have Thailand nationality.

(2) Students must be officially admitted to NUK

(3) Language requirements:
A.Applying as an international student of bachelor and master program students (except IMBA and ASM full English program) are required to pass the Chinese placement test at NUK’s Language Center before the enrollment; or spend more than 360 hours of Chinese learning at NUK‘s Language Center; or spend more than 720 hours of Chinese learning at other languages center.
