Principles of Teaching |

Based on the radical idea of education, we focus on guiding students to discover social knowledge actively for cooperating and integrating together. Thus the intention is to nurture students to attain freewill attitude and habits of learning. |

Employments after Graduating |

Students graduate from this department could participate in different kinds of national examinations, including lawyering, legal profession, etc. In addition, students could choose to enter government organizations or to stay in private firms such as transnational corporations and non-profit organizations. Going abroad to study and to work on related researches is also one of the multiple choices for students. |

First, the cultivation of the professionals in diverse financial and economic laws |

The professionals in financial and economic law are always the pillars of national development and the power necessary for social development. Consequently, the teaching objective of this department is the cultivation of legal professionals in finance and economics, in response to the policies on our national development of the liberalization and internationalization. |

Second, the implementation of the balance between the theory and practice |
|
The current development of this department focuses on the balance between theory and empiricism as well as the students’ abilities in independent research; future curriculum design and teaching methods will emphasize both theory and practice and use constructive case study to teach students how to speculate, how to correctly sort out the contentious points of problems, and how to rapidly and appropriately exercise legal norms, in order to train students for logically thinking ability and increase students’ learning effect. |
■Third,the discipline of legal talents with international perspectives
To develop cross-fields, cross-borders and cross-industry legal talents of the new century, this department will actively seek partnerships with universities in Taiwan or overseas, invite internationally renowned scholars to Taiwan for the communication by professors’ lectures, to enhance our research standards and expand our students’ international macro outlooks.
